Square Enix brings MMORPG to Switch 2 on August 4 with early access

Final Fantasy XIV Online is heading to Nintendo Switch 2 on August 4, 2026, with a two-week early access window starting July 21, before the general release. The game requires 117GB of space and comes to the platform with cross-platform play and character progression intact, so Switch 2 players can team up with PC, PlayStation, and Xbox players from day one.
