Avatar Legends and Sonic Racing receive content drops
Two fighting and racing games get support updates as players settle into their launch windows.
Avatar Legends: The Fighting Game received its first post-launch update announcement, introducing Ranked Mode, Lobbies, Spectator Mode, and a Beginner's Zone to help new players onboard while adding enhanced animations for select characters (via Nintendo Life). The update follows the game's multi-platform launch on PlayStation 5 and PC (Steam and Epic Games Store) and solidifies the first Marvel tag-team fighting game in nine years.
Sonic Racing brings TMNT crossover. Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds is featuring Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles content as paid DLC along with a special festival event running this week on Switch and Switch 2 (via Nintendo Life). The crossover adds new characters and themed tracks to the kart racer as the Switch 2 library continues to fill out with expanded versions of existing titles.
